Best Hip Hop Record of 08 so far?

    Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold

    Rising Down is a rushed Roots Album IMO. And they're my 2nd favorite band.

    I agree that Rising Down isn't a very good Roots album. They've my favorite rap act, but that one feels a bit rushed, way too many guest vocalists.

    I have only listened to a handful of rap albums this year, but my vote goes to Murs & 9th Wonder's "Sweet Lord"

    I haven't heard that Murs album yet. I loved Murs 3:16. Great album.

    It's pretty good, I really like his style, he released that one as a free album on his website, he's got one coming out in stores soon as well.

    niggy tardust was just actually released on cd and vinyl in july...that's still my fave

    atmosphere is the only band in this catagory i can listen to
    they call them fingers, but i never see them fing. oh, there they go
