I first thought that was Grace Slick not Janis. Then I looked and said that's not any of them. hehe

A little early for Halloween isn’t it?

I was in the mindset it would be some rare footage of them jamming at the Golden Bear back in the day or something…Such a tease...

Reminds me of why I dont understand the greatness of Janis Joplin, the impression might not even be as bad

  • The guitarist couldn't play, the woman could actually sing, and the other bloke wasn't comatose and humping the lighting rig. Obviously a fake.

  • "Fuck Her in the Ass" has been around since the first Scene club boots surfaced on "Sky High", in 1971. I was born in '72, and discovered the "Woke Up This Morning and Found Myself Dead" picture disc in 1984. I'm betting all of PJ heard this during the eighties, because it was cheaper than the official Hendrix or Doors releases, and just the sort of thing that turned up at an interesting second hand vinyl store, when you were a kid with a few spare pennies to gamble on a Jimi/Jim boot.
  • haha yeah your probably right, it was just weird hearing it for the first time and then connecting the two...

either that or ed IS jim reincarnated.... ;)
