Recommendations?

Hey. I started listening to some different music than I had been for a while and I want some more bands to go with my current flow...

    I don't know why Tricky was recommended (it is one guy not a band) but his music has a lot of different influences. Been around for quite a while http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tricky
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    I can only think it's cos of similarly dark, sometimes melancholic sound of Depeche Mode. Tricky isn't a band, he was a vocalist on Massive Attack's first two records who then went solo taking their electronic dub sound with him. The songs on myspace are form his latest album, but his debut Maxinquaye is where the treasure lies.
