Still Life by Suede. in fact, the whole Dog Man Star album. it was all downhill from there.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"
  • I don't think go get's overlooked at all.

I still love 'Brother'... so much. I'm not sure if it's overlooked or not but I don't hear many people talk about it.

Three Days has got to be one of my favourite songs ever! God, it's so long but I just love the way it lasts forever!

I think your average non-PJ fan, who's been around at least since the '90s, will have heard Ten, and at least the first couple of songs from Vs. They'll probably not have heard much else.

DUDE?? ITS 7 SHADES OF BLACK?
  • Duder5k - I'm not going to quote the whole thing but Drawing Flies was also one of my favourites from that era.

I don't get Silverchair at all. I only knew that one album 'Frogstomp'? I was about 14/15 when it came out and I loved it at the time. I very quickly went off them.
I've noticed people have been talking about them a lot lately so maybe they are worth listening to again.

Love that "Crackerman"........lots of good songs buried in the STP (and the PJ) catalog.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

Heh, thanks. About Silverchair, Tomorrow was one of the biggest hits of 1995, but most of the songs I listed are more heavier less radio-friendly tracks. They haven't been as big in the states since the mid-90's but now they're popular again, I guess. Their new album hit #1 in Australia, along with the lead single, and they're gonna be at Lolla '07 so yeah that's probably where all the talk is coming from. And yeah Drawing Flies is also one of my personal favs from Badmotorfinger, and SG in general as well.
