I definitely think they'll do Dave's Show. I bet they do it a day before MSG1.

I don't think so, but it'd be cool.

    ooooooh yeah.

Ed V. and Sean Penn (and company's) friendship.
The Into the Wild sountrack (award winning right?).
Possible new album to support coming off of their most successful run since Vitalogy came out (remember the rolling stones covers?)

etc etc. It's really strange, but Pearl Jam isn't exactly 'under the radar' anymore as they were a few years ago.

    plus dave likes these guys.

i say they will close down 57th / Broadway again and PJ will play on top of the marquee like phish did as few years back.

then, after the recording has ended, theyll play a little mini set for all of us lunatics out there behind the police baracades. !

Well, a live internet show seemed just as unlikely.

As much as I love Letterman and Pearl Jam, and especially Pearl Jam on Letterman, I just don't see them going on there without anything new for Dave to hold up.

I could see Ed doing a solo appearance for the ITW album, but I also thought that would have happened some time ago, so that is probably a very thin chance now.

Didn't the boys do a performance a few years ago (4 years ago?) when they didn't have any new material? I think they played Masters of War.

Okay, I guess they did have something to promote, just not a PJ album

I think they're just as under the radar as they were before "World Wide Suicide".
