Some of you may recall earlier on this year Courtney Love reported Cobains ashes had been stolen. Well... the plot thickens dun dun dun.

    Courtney never reported Kurt's ashes stolen. It was a bogus story in a British tabloid rag that the media ran with, and people continue to believe as fact (as this thread proves). This Australian bitch is taking advantage of an urban legend to make an art statement, just like those idiots who said they found a sasquatch corpse.

    You know Courteny personally? These quotes seems to contradict that ..."I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me,” Love was quoted as saying. “I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal. If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do." and "They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me,” Love said. “Now it feels like I have lost him all over again." Im not saying they arent fake quotes, I;m simply pointing out it is not a far cry to see why people would claim to believe it as fact after reading alleged quotes from Courtney herself.

    Link or it didnt happen. When I google searched I couldnt find it. Closest I could find was a LA Police officer saying no theft claim had been filed.
