all of us going to MSG tomorrow are faced with this dilemma.. do we:

- bite the bullet and go see PJ, or..
- fence the tix and go see ringo, who, with his all starr band, is playing radio city at the same time..

help me decide.
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

Maybe if that All Star Band had Harrison, Lennon and McCartney in it:) I would go there instead.

Go see Ringo, and sell me your PJ tickets.

    Does that help?

oh c'mon.. am i to believe that you'd all rather experience such songs as w.m.a., release, do the evolution, etc.. instead of octopus' garden???

    that's insanity.

You are asking this on a pearl jam message board. I wouldn't expect too many votes for Ringo.

PEARL JAM PEARL JAM PEARL JAM.

Here's why - #1, they are a great live show (duh), and 2# I just saw The Cure at Radio City. The CURE played wonderfully, and put on a fabulous show, and this is my only experience at Radio City, so I don't know if this is common, but I was in first balcony and people were all SITTING. (Orchestra had mostly standing, but unfortunately I wasn't down there) Some people in front of me stood up, thank goodness, so I got right up, but there were people telling THEM to sit down. I'm not that young, but I don't sit at rock shows. I don't know what Ringo and All Stars sound like now, or what they play, but it might attract people who are (maybe) older, with more money, who want to sit, and are not hardcore into the music. (The couple next to me gabbed through the entire opening act and during a few Cure songs, then just left)

    Anyway, Pearl Jam. 100%

As much as I love the Beatles this is a no brainer. Now if it was a choice between Paul or Pearl Jam...well that might be tougher. I've seen Paul twice but when it comes to a live show I think Pearl Jam there is nobody better than Stone and the band. (Well maybe Led Zep but I wasn't born '77 so I have no first hand experience other than the page/plant reunion).
