    Pinkerton.

That's no guilty pleasure(Well, maybe Butterfly).
They were the best back then.
Most of what came after was some wack shit.
I was kind of relieved they called it quits, before the legacy of "The Blue Album" was totally ruined,

Third Eye Blind's first album. Just a great cd, IMO.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

past 2 albums have been great, even if they are really really bad live. although i think for this recent album they had horrible song choices to release as singles.

    mr. brain,

i was under the impression that a guilty pleasure would be a cheesy band like confessing you like to listen to tony bennet (like something your grandma would like)

i don't see how fuel's song hemorrage could fit into that category or peter frampton's "do you feel like we do."

i consider these good tunes and i've met mr. former fuel front man before, brett scallions! i've seen fuel in concert. they rocked but brett is gone.
go see peter frampton and you will no longer consider him a guilty pleasure.
the man is amazing. I just saw him in october and I saw him in 1982.

8/08 - Ed solo in DC, 6/09 Ed in B'more,

It's obviously a subjective term. I love all types of music, but being a bit of a music snob leaves me in a state of confusion. Basically, if I wouln't wear a t- shirt of the band or bring them up to score some "indie cred" in a music conversation, I put them in the Guilty Pleasures category. That's not to say I would deny what I like, but there are cetain bands I would want to associate with my image and cetain one's I wouln't.

Your right. That does sound a bit silly. I should have just stuck with the "subjective" idea.
Basically everyone has bands they think are cool, and bands they don't. I happen to like alot of songs by bands I don't consider cool. There aren't any hard and fast rules to this.

I haven't given Loose a spin yet, but I love Folklore, and some songs off of Whoa, Nelly! That's my biggest guilty pleasure.. other than that... Blink 182 kind of feels like a guilty pleasure only because my friends don't listen to them, and I've been really getting into 'em. I mean, I guess that's the definition of a guilty pleasure; you only feel bad because the others around you don't think the music fits you?
If I could, think I would give in.
