I'm not too sure I'm down with that one.
Once they were done recording the album, they could rush release it, just like The Raconteurs did with their latest album. That'd be ace!
My god, I hope there are bootlegs! I don't care if they're downloadable or on CD. I just want bootlegs!
It seems reasonable to me then that we *could* see a new album this year yet. Wasn't "No Code" pretty much recorded late spring/early summer '96 and out in August? It'll probably take a little longer to finish with the tour going on but I'd say it'll be out October-November.
In the meantime where's the damn Avocado b-sides?!
6/30/98 Minneapolis, 10/8/00 East Troy (Brrrr!), 6/16/03 St. Paul, 6/27/06 St. Paul
They started work on No Code in July 1995 and finished in the spring of 1996. In between they played some make-up dates in September 1995 for the shows that were canceled in June 1995.
If you hate something, don't you do it too
edit-
nevermind...i was looking at the rolling stone article.
the bootleg part sounds very much like they are pulling it out of their ass, however. i dont think they have any info on it.
I kinda got the same feeling. Although I certainly do hope!
