  • Can't wait!
  • This is either gonna be really awesome, or slightly more awesome than that.
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

I'm betting on the latter. Saturnalia is the name of the record, by the way.

such a wait though! was time that I first heard about this and now they say march, well thats still serious time. That makes it not worth anticipating until february time. So I won't.
  • Expect miracles.

I bloody well do expect miracles! These days everything Greg Dulli touches seems to turn to gold, and with Lanegan on board I can only imagine how good that is going to sound. I saw the Twilight Singers around this time last year in London, they were utterly jaw-dropping, when Lanegan came out it pushed it to an entirely different level. Dammit I wanna hear it now!

Absolutely! I really hope they swing through NY when the album drops.

For trades, check my Twilight collection at http://www.newjeruzoo.com/twilight ................I'll be adding my Lanegan stuff, other Dulli stuff and Jeff Klein material as well.

First few shows have been announced in Feb - there is an NME show at the Koko in London, then I then I think one in Amsterdam and a few in the UK.
I cant decide whether to come down to London (which would mean a day and a half off work) or hedge my bets for a bigger tour later on.....

P.S. Cant remember an album I have looked forward to more for quite some time.

Cheers for the heads up on the London show, just booked myself a couple of tickets.

Do you ever go on the Summer's Kiss website. Excellent source of info for all things Whigs, Twilight Singers, Gutter Twins etc and any spins offs associated with the Whigs.
You can sign-up for an e-mail list which fires everytime a new story is posted - you only get one e-mail every couple of days. Got into couple of other bands through that such as Afterhours.

Summerskiss is a great resource - and the tribute album they're putting out is gonna be great! It features Shawn Smith and Jeff Klein, among others

I do go on Summer's Kiss, great site. I thought I was signed up for the mailing list, but maybe not, I'll have to get that sorted.

What are Afterhours like? I keep meaning to check them out, can you recommend anything?
