Brendan O'brien is a busy man....When will PJ record?

Looks like BO'B will be busy all winter.......so its gonna be a while for the new PJ record :-(

"Metal band Killswitch Engage will record their fourth album with ubiquitous Rock producer Brendan O'Brien, with an eye on a release sometime in the Spring of 2009. KSE will spend the winter in the studio and tour in the Spring. KSE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz has produced the band's three previous albums, and will co-produce the new record alongside O'Brien."

    PJ is a much bigger band than Killswitch Engage. Brendan will prioritize if he knows what's good for him.

    I don't think they are in any hurry. Mike, Stone and Ed all have young children, I don't think you want to miss those years so that you can get a record out quick so your die hards will stop bitching on message boards. I would say they wont even need BO'B in the studio until spring earliest and look for a fall/winter 09 release. I know that this is contrary to what some band members have said or purportedly said but I think it makes sense.

    It should take as long as it needs to take, so they feel right about it. No one of the dads I know stay at home for a year though and not work because they have kids. Even if you've got the cash. It's good to keep a balanced life.
