i recently started listening to this band and holy crap! they are incredible. im going to see them with STP on June 1st.

anyone picking up their new album next week?

    Love the band, seen them 5 times and have tickets for Cleveland, but the new album fucking sucks.

    Rich tried to make it a big fluffy radio rock record, but it completely lacks any sort of singalong hook.

    Each song is just a cheap riff-a-thon with him singing about how we were lied to about Iraq.

    No real substance or decent songwriting. Army of Anyone was better.

    I'm a pretty big Filter Fan, Title of Record, Alamugut, and Short Bus are all solid records.

    Seeing them at rock on the range and then in NY city on may 13 for their record release party and concert. Pretty excited for that, Rich puts on an awesome show and can scream like no other! If anyone else is going i'll probably be wearing a pj shirt haha.

    From what i've heard (5 songs) of the new album it isn't that great so far, Cold is pretty good, and Soldiers of Misfortune has grown on me. The other 3 I listened to didn't really grab my attention though...

    Army of anyone was awesome, too bad their management sucked balls and couldn't figure out how to promote them AT ALL. Saw them twice, and Ray and Dean (guys from STP, might have the wrong names) are really really cool guys, very down to earth and they joked around a lot. good times!
    Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

    the few songs that i've heard i have liked. i don't know the name, but on short bus there's a song that says "watch your back i got mine." which is f-ing awesome. oh, and they had a song on the crow soundtrack that i like.

    must have been an positive split from Army of Anyone if Filter is opening up for STP.

    yeah no hard feeling from what i heard, aoa's management sucked, rich started working on filter songs, stp guys got back with weiland, rest is history.
