  • i think you are going to get a lot of heat for that statement but i do like Gavin's stream-of-consciousness lyrics and i think "The Science of Things" & "Golden State" were very underrated

  • They were a very mediocre band. I used to hate them until I heard truly horrible music like Creed Nickleback, and Nu Metal became popular.

Now I would almost welcome them back.

my first favorite band and they got me into music so they'll always be sentimental to me

Same. Sixteen Stone was the first CD I ever owned. I got it for Christmas in 1994 when I was 8. The next year in September I got Ten for my birthday and my musical tastes began to develop.

they were my first concert so i will always have a soft spot for them. besides, sixteen stone was a very good album and has a handful of above average songs on it.

they were the first band i ever saw in concert. sure, there's nothing especially original about them, but they are a lot of fun.

...a decent little band....not real ground-breaking or anything like that.

  • The topic should be: which was the worst and most annoying band of the 90's, Bush or No Doubt. I can't decide right now.

yeah, I DO like them, they have many powerful good songs but they are nothing special. And No Doubt was a great band but I hate Gwen making carreer on her own nowadays. I miss both bands if you ask me...
