Eminem - Relapse

I haven't seen a thread about Eminem's "Relapse," and he definitely deserves one. Is anyone on here ready for this album? I am. Without a doubt, Encore was not his best, but still, I am sure the new album will have at least a few good tracks.

    Yeah. I don't have links to interviews or anything, but he said he's looking to have the new album out by the end of the year. I guess it's just been kept quiet? I think that he did an interview on his Sirius radio station. He put out a new freestyle too... it's just a bunch of nonsense really, but I love it.

    Hahaha. Ahhhh Detox. Again, I don't have the interview, but 50 Cent was saying they are trying to release their albums in like.. a kind of story mode or something along those lines. First 50, then Eminem, then Dr. Dre. I'll find the links and post them, they will be a better read and more informative than my posts haha.

    Yeah, I think he is a very talented writer and I reallly liked "No Apologies" off of his last one.

    I hope he is putting out some more great songs. I think his writing is really good and he is really credible on his accounts of the things he writes about. In other words, I guess what I mean to say is, "he is not a poser".

    His last effort was horrendous. Songs like My Band should be destroyed, along with anything that halfwits like the big fat guy from D12 releases, absolutely shameful. I liked his first two albums so hopefully he can reproduce that kind of sound.
    People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

    I can't think of any other musician who so wantonly squanders very real and serious talent as Eminem. He is capable of making some amazing songs but his last 2 albums were just littered with the most puerile trash and it's a damn shame. I hope he has at least one proper album left in him.

    I agree.....

    The Marshall Mathers LP was a great album, but it kind of all went arseward quite quickly after that.....

    Eminem is a very talented rapper, I'm hoping this album sees a return to form.....fingers crossed.....

    I still can't find the links of the interviews about plans for the new album, but I agree with a lot of what you guys said: His effort hasn't been the best since 8 Mile. Like someone said, fingers crossed.

    glad to agree..............maybe we can meet up with some fellow fans of Eminem and see him together.............let me know what happens.

    I love that all of his music is always truthful, not over the top to prove his street cred, (I get that he doesn't need that proof--he already has it), and even though he writes a lot of negativity of his ex wife, I can see that so very normal, when he writes of his daughter, he is always just portraying love and the good stuff from being a father.

    I admire him as well.
