Ok, so I'm wanting to go to a concert here soon, and it seems that the best seats are taken. The tickets are about 115 each and but are side stage and kind of high up. What I'm wondering is, does ticketmaster hold good seats until closer to the concert? I just want the best seat for all the money I'm going to be forking out. Any help with them would be MUCH appreciated

how big the venue is helps determine the number of seats released as you get closer to the concert date. the bigger the venue the more seats that will be released(common sense) and the better your chances are

side stage in the large venues isn't that bad, overall. however, upper level side stage, isn't as good, obviously.
  • most bands will do a ticket drop 1-2 days or even the day of the show. Be patient..but in the end..even if you can't have floor/front row..if you love the band enough just get in the building.
  • Yeah, it's a venue/artist thing, not a TM thing.

If you can't get good seats in the lower level, don't rule out some of the closer seats in the second level. Some of my best seats have been there. You could clearly see the stage without having to too much in front of you and the sound has always been better. You might also call TM. If you get a rep on the phone they can tell you exactley what is available instead of the computer picking the "best available" for you.
