random search on discogs revealed reissues early this year...

The earlier ones were shit, hopefully the new ones are better.

seems the 2021 US versions are from the same laquers from 2014. have gotten ehh reviews. especially for blues and sky vally.

german cuts and pressing have much better reviews.

may bite the bullet and spend up.

US cuts were done by this place in Cleveland?

That's a shame as the 2010 reissue of QOTSA ST album is a fantastic printing.  These guys actually care about their pressings too.

I often wonder if I go out to 29 Palms in Cali and sniff around some record shops what would I find?

Sky Valley is still one of my top 5 albums of all time. It’s a masterpiece. I highly suggest it on vinyl
