Yeah, Easy Tiger got a lot of shit around here, but I think it was great. Seems like people here dig gold, heartbreaker and demolition, but for me cold roses, jacksonville city nights and easy tiger are the favs

I've never been a huge fan of Gold and Demolition is spotty, but Heartbreaker is a masterpiece to me. But, take Heartbreaker, Cold Roses, JCN and Easy Tiger and you've got a bunch of great music. I'm looking forward to this....and it comes out right before my birthday, so maybe the only other Ryan fan I know will pick it up for me.

    What he said.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

I heard a number of the new songs (Cobwebs, Sinking Ship, Fix It, Like Yesterday, Crossed Out Name, Go Easy) when I saw him last week...sounded great.

I despise Easy Tiger but I'm trying to stay postive for this one.

I mostly consider myself to be open minded, but I cannot see how anyone can put place Easy Tiger on the same level as Heartbreaker, Cold Roses or Strangers Almanac.

I for one wouldn't put it on the same level with any of those, but I do like it....it hits and misses with me

Ah, you should be! He's fantastic.

He started around 8:30 and finished at 11:30 with a ten-minute break.

I just got a myspace bulletin saying the Kansas City is postponed...apparently the Cardinals have got the flu.

i got a watermarked copy a few weeks ago, and it's taken some time to get into it....the first 5 songs have a bit of the 'rock n roll' album feel to them, which i like....after that they get a bit boring, maybe they will grow on me as well...overall i would say it's an above average effort. nothing horrible, but nothing classic either.

So I went to the show last night. It was my first time to see Ryan Adams live and it was amazing. He sounded great, the band was really good, it was altogether a great show. He played some songs from the new album which I really liked. They seem a little harder than the stuff he's done in the past. I liked the new stuff a lot. I can't wait for the album!

The downside to the show, the place was only about half full. I couldn't believe there weren't more people there. It made for a more intimate show but I thought the place would have been packed.

Awesome i'm seeing him this friday.

I have only made it through cobwebs on the new album and i'm not loving it but i'm open. All of his albums seem to grow on me.

I love the lyrics to Fix it.

I agree..I wasn't a fan of that album. A few songs were good but as a whole it was disappointing.

I preordered Cardinology, Im looking forward to it :D.

I snatched it last night but haven't listened to it yet, I'm a total newcomer to Ryan Adams. I saw him open for Oasis in August and was really impressed and since then have found myself reaching for his albums more and more. My friend's who have liked him for years were both really dissapointed with the new album so we'll see I guess.
