Awesome show. I'd kill to have seen them at the 9:30, or anywhere. Probably the band I most wish I could have been in, the band that most appeals to me on a personal level. Every single song they released is perfect, pure music.

Here is me with my favourite t-shirt :) I'm wearing it right now.

Awesome shirt, I've got the one with the sheep.

I'm going through a serious Minor Threat obsession right now. They're one of the first punk bands I ever listened to, been a fan for years.

I would sell my soul to the proverbial devil if I could witness any Minor Threat/Black Flag show from the early 80s.

Talking about punk shows, I see you're in London, did you happen to catch Cloak/Dagger last night? They played the Old Blue Last. I've really been digging their stuff as well lately.

I did not :o I haven't seen any punk shows around here for a few months, been feeling the monetary pinch a bit.

I know what you mean though. I would KILL to be able to spend a few months in DC in 1981-82. I just adore all the Dischord bands, plus most of the SST ones etc. How do you feel about the second generation of bands, the "Revolution Summer" stuff like Rites of Spring etc? There's an amazing 7" by a band called Rain, "La Vache Qui Rit". It's incredible. I think Dischord recently re-released it. Brilliant stuff.

I caught Cloak/Dagger last week, brilliant stuff, really good crowd too.

SST had some great bands as well... The Minutemen were fabulous, Descendents are great too.... God, there's just too many to list.

I don't mind Rites of Spring, but it's never got to me like the earlier hardcore stuff has. Judging by some of the videos around, they were definitely an intense live band though. I''ll have to go and find that EP by Rain, sounds interesting.
