Love David Gray. White Ladder is great but A New Day at Midnight and Life in Slow Motion are my two favorite.

  • yeah, A New Day at Midnight is great too. I haven't heard his newest release yet.

'Sail Away' is probably one of my fav songs ever. So damn beautiful.

Was a huge David Gray fan back in the day....during his early years but his last two albums were pretty boring. White Ladder was excellent but Sell Sell Sell is by far his best album....and produced by the magnificant Paul Kimble (former bass player with Grant Lee Buffalo) :D

New Day at Midnight is very good

Life in Slow Motion is good

Sell, Sell, Sell & Century's end are very good

He's not for everyone, but I need this type of mood music often

  • a new day at midnight is one of my favorite albums. it got me through some really tough times, definitely a perfect winter album.

that said, i do however miss the "folkier" sounds of his records prior to white ladder, but anything he releases is pretty great.
