Any fans of Eek-a-Mouse out there?

I used to listen to Eek-a-Mouse in college (15 years ago), and just recently got two of his CDs again.

I am digging it, and wanted to tell anyone that has not heard of him to check him out. His live stuff that you can find on YouTube is not great - but he is good live - and his studio stuff is also very good.

It is FUN Reggae - and he is a huge name in Jamaica. Why he hasn't mainstreamted in the US is surprising to me... but then again, I don't get why Pearl Jam isn't still on everyone's radar.

Oh well, I am cool with sharing this little "secret" with the PJ family!

For those who scoff at "Jamily" in my name... 9 years ago, when my first daughter was born there were jokes about whether my priority would be my family or PJ. I smiled and quipped "I am a JamilyMan." What was a family joke became a hated term among jammers. Didn't see that one coming!
