Surprising revelation

Went to see a local band the other day and for once it wasn't full of the same old badly done cover versions that the recent wave of talent less fools have been inflicting on me, this band played new material and apparently it was there first gig ever and they were bloody good.     Im all for covers...its nice to here a song you know allready, so you can compare the band to something...but I totally know what you mean. I say on an 8 - 10 song set ..... 2 covers

    I didn't know angst was so popular again, but I guesss if anyone would like us they'd pretty much have to be into Pearl Jam!

    Got to admit, if I'd seen this and the lack of posts each of us have, I'd have cried foul too!!
    I'm only here because ther's been a bit of a frenzy on the old myspace friend requests and most of em' have Pearl Jam related names!!
