Powderfinger album launch......

Just scored tix to Powderfinger's album launch party in Brisbane at teh HIlton. Should be a great gig, in teh ballroom, so should be small, sold out in under a minute. General admission too, guys will probbaly wanfder around. Woohooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Is this where i say i snagged a couple of extra tix cos we could and they were only $60.

    This was a complete fluke. I opened teh first ticketek newsletter in ages last night, and the tix went on sale this morning. My wife, teh Ticketek Queen says why only get 2, get 4 ( the limit), and someone will wsant to come with us.

    TAlk about arsy !!

    Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, now, who are all my friends ???????

    That's true, of course, you would have to be in Brisbane.
    Wifelet actually suggeted that friends from teh Pit go to teh top of the list. For some reason, she thinks you people are nice !!!! Hah !!!
    Booked a rom at the HIlton so we don't have to go home after. Mind you , they have screwed teh prices up.

    Cool!

    I have got to admit I didn't like the last album at all, infact I found it rather boring. I'm hoping the new album is more like The Internationist (my fav Powderfinger album by some way).

    ooh hang on they're doing one of these in sydney as well. in the grand ballroom of the four seasons hotel. i'd give anything to hear black tears uncensored. :D

    Yeah, in 4 states I think. All the tix went on sale this am I htink. Sorry, I didn't think top give you a heads up, I just noticed the newsletter really late last ngiht. NAughty me.
    It sold out in less than a minute.
    I am sure there will be tix for sale around the place.
    Do you think there will be a red carpet ??
