I'm a big fan, they're my favorite rap act and the only one I listen to on a semi-regular basis anymore. Their albums always seem to sneak up on me, I didn't know about the new one until a few days ago, but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

"Game Theory" was so damn good, can't wait to hear what they do to follow it up.

I used to be into them. Not so much anymore.
  • Huge Roots fan! Saw them a looooong time ago in Central Park, NY...awesome! Also seeing them at All Points...my understanding is that they're headlining one of the other stages though, so if we're seeing KOL and Radiohead, we'll miss The Roots :( I sincerely hope this is incorrect

I love these guys! Their live show is what really makes me keep coming back! You can spot ?uestlove all over Philly :) If anyone is worried about missing them at All Points, the roots has a 'Roots Picnic' scheduled in Philly this summer too (June 7 with gnarls barkley, dap kings, santo gold and more) at Festival Pier.

    I'm addicted to 'Birthday Girl'....

we booked them for a show down here at UCSD earlier in the year .. got to watch them from the side of the stage, rafters above etc... let me tell you you're in for a treat and I'd only heard game theory and part of things fall apart before that show so if you're a fan you'll definitely be blown away

they did a masters of war cover out of nowhere that was amazing

Loved Illadelph but havent listened to anything really since that. To be honest, dont even listen to much rap anymore.

PJ at MSG in 2008! Mission Accomplished

The band all knows. We're too afraid to mention.
