Ever Love An Album But Not Know The Names of the Songs on It?

I've listened to Kings of Leon's Because of the Times so many times now but I had no clue what the names of the songs were until I just looked at my iTunes playlist.

I feel like I will never remember these songs by their actual names now, only by what I thought they were called.

It's actually kinda pissing me off. I usually look at the song titles the very first time I hear an album and even if I didn't the choruses usually make it pretty easy to guess the song title.

A whole bunch actually. I cant even name alot of the songs from my favorite bands because I just take the CD out and listen to it straight through never to look at the case again.

Oh yea that is definitely another band that fits my description. I've seen them live 3 times and every time after I saw them I look at the setlist and think "thats the show I just saw?!?!?".

A lot of Frank Zappa albums. Most of them are burns so I have not tracklist. I just throw 'em on and let 'em play.

i feel that way about half the radiohead catelogue... one of my favorite bands... dont know why so many of their song titles just never stick with me... knowing the titles is really the least important thing to appreciating a band though... im picking it up little by little as i get more bootlegs

all the time, i use an ipod shuffle (i like the smallness & lightness), and the lack of a screen means i usually never know the titles of songs.

i have whole catalogues by bands that i listen to all the time but dont know a single song title....Mogwai, Fugazi, The Shins, MMJ....
