Sonic Youth in China = PRC Ministry of Culture approval

Read in their tour site that, the china shows must aproved by the PRC
Whats the deal with this?=).
Heard something about that no f word is allowed during concerts etc
Are the PRC just deciding what is bad influence on the youths?
