My eclectic Amazon order ... had these albums in my wishlist for awhile and had scored a $50 gift to Amazon so:

FINALLY got Bayleaf, yeah!

Wynton Marsalis - Joe Cool's Blues
OMG can't stop listening to this, just a bunch of amazing swing jazz covers of Guaraldi's classics, Wynton's dad's Ellis Marsalis Trio's support and just AMAZING quality. Diggin this from the liner notes: "To obtain more wood sound from the bass, this CD was recorded without the usage of the dreaded bass direct."

Nine Horses - Money For All
A remix of Nine Horses' 2006 Best Album voted by BBC radio or something, "Snow Borne Sorrow" with the japanese only release of "money for all" tossed in. Not an electronic dance remix, just a different vibe/rendition. Snow Borne Sorrow didn't leave my CD player for like 1/2 a year. This is David Sylvian and some of his mates from ol' Brit electronica kinda band, Japan, remade much later as Rain Tree Crow (also and awesome album) and earlier David played with Robert Fripp and David Torn on Gone To Earth and other albums. David has about the most subtle control of a male vocal lead I've ever heard. Gone to Earth is amazing music.

Luka Bloom - Keeper of the Flame
Well, hadda buy it, his covers album had "Throw Your Arms Around Me" and this is just such my year of solo acoustic love that I finally got this one. Oh yeah, an ABBA cover, Dancing Queen! Some Joni Mitchel, some Marley -- oh yeah "In Between Days" da Cure!
