    JD is new wave/post punk. I an curtis had been in the ground a few years before emo even started.

    teenage boys trying to play guitar and wail down a micophone
    emo bands: my chemical romance, fall out boy, panic at the disco, alkaline trio etc etc
    emo kids like to wear tight jeans and band tshirts for bands theyve never heard of
    have the legendary side fringe
    most emo kids i know think that the ramones is a clothing range.
    id advise any kids out there to stick to good old fashioned grunge instead of emo.
    HIM are "love metal" i personally dont think such a thing exsists, ther fan base is quite diverse, as with system, who are supposedly metal.

    i like the used and glassjaw first album, ´´emo´´ is a rock label like ´´grunge´´ did, i like the music of them, but the lyrics is the same thing, bad relationships with girls, a death girlfriend, sometimes sounds like a glam rock... talking about girl girls girls... emo it´s mix between punk and nu screamo metal bands........ it´s like a new alternative sound.......

    I like a lot of those band...well AFI, MCR, TEN, and DC specifically.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

    HIM is not emo. even though i think its corny they call their style of music "love metal" i think they're a good band. you gotta listen to the older stuff though because the new stuff was meant to be on MTV- they sold out to make money in the US.

    Just to throw in my 2 cents.....Based on my only impression of HIM, their video on MTV, they suck major sphincter. That song is terrible and the video is worse.

    Death Cab, I bought into the hype and got their album and it was repulsive. I didn't realize they were just another whiny nerd band. I can't believe PJ let them on the same stage.

    All of these bands on all of these lists.....suck.
