Something VERY different to Pearl Jam and the kind of music,
It's known as Hasidic Reggae, like a sort of jewish reggae rap, yet it's really good! http://www.matismusic.com check it out, it has grown on my alot over the last few weeks.

....yeah Ive heard this guy, its kinda funny that he adopts a jamaican patois and theres a rock edge to it. I admit to finding his songs catchy though theres not enough to grab me totally.....s'just me tho.
....he's caused controversy with his "rebuild the temple" lyric which if I remember correctly means for jews to reclaim land or whatever.
  • Why on Earth he tries to sing like a Jamaican rasta is beyond me.

Yea it is a bit out of place, but still, it's kind of unique in that way.

Yeh fuck that! How can ya be something NEW in music if you're still stuck in the middle ages?

What's that about sharing the stage with women? I didn't know that. Is that true? Wow.

Yep that's part of his religion. He used to crowd surf but found some passages that were against that so he doesn't anymore.

Regardless, as attention grabbing as a rapping hasidic jew is I can't figure out why he tries to sound jamacain. Something seems very insincere about the whole thing.
    Which came first,
the bad idea or me befallen by it?

LOL about the crowdsurfing. I wanna find that in my flipping Old Testament! :D

  • i saw him live last month and i have to say he had alot of energy and got the crowd moving. the first few songs were pretty catchy and rocking. but thats it. like the other guy said, he's pretty boring. all the songs sounded the same. i dont think i will be seeing him live again......not for me.

i caught his show(s) at wakarusa in 2005. his band was tight and the show was excellent. he's been back to kansas city but i could not make his show. a 'have alot of fun' band and that's about it.

btw, fun is good in my book.
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

The Gig's over Snow. We know you grew a beard and wrote some new songs. You're not fooling anyone here buddy. Just go clean yourself up and bring that "Brian Austin Green" look back.

he's so hyped because he's this reageajunkiejew (anyone who knows ween will get that lol).. but i seen him at sasquatch and listened to his albums and stuff... he can get a crowd going ill give him that.. but when it all comes down to it the only thing original about him is the way he looks.. his music has been done before and is not original at all... so to me he's just a gimmick selling his religion to the world.
