I am going to see AIC unplugged tonight in Asheville, NC. Has anyone seen them recently? Are they sounding good with Duvall? Anyone else here going?

    I saw them a year ago and they sounded AWESOME! I had my misgivings, but they handled everything well, did this little video memorial thing, and the new singer sounded uncannily like Layne. I'm sure they'll outdo themselves with an acoustic show.

    I saw them a couple weeks ago doing a plugged in set. My 2nd time seeing them with Duvall and i think I saw duvall with Jerry on his solo tours 3 times too so i've heard duvall a lot and he generally does a good job.

    Not sure about the acoustic tour, but i bet they would not do it if it did not sound good. Let us know how it turns out.

    I am pretty much geared up for it. I have seen them 3 times, but none since Layne passed. Its gonna be weird seeing them with someone else singing.

    what have they been playing unplugged? same stuff as the original unplugged show pretty much? or some more tunes..?

    Oh shit!!!! That show was awesome. Duvall is good. I have to admit I was skeptical going in, but they sounded tight as hell. It was so good, I am considering taking off work early and headn to Nashville to see them at the Ryman tonight. They played all the old stuff, didn't hear any new tunes. Played for 1 hour and 45 min. Nothing like an awesome show to make you feel effin great!!!!

    I saw them in KC this past Sunday. Awesome, First time I heard a live version of Love Hate Love!!!!!!!
