Worst/Least Favourite Alt-Rock Single of the Year

I usually don't like these types of threads (although I will participate if in the right mood) BUT i'm in a shitty mood and i've heard ALL of these terrible freaking songs in the past 2 hours....I feel like throwing my radio out the window but my boss usually frowns upon that sort of behaviour.

So heres my list of the WORST singles of the year...let the hating begin

Blue October - Hate Me
Audioslave - Original Fire
RHCP - Tell Me Baby
Three Days Grace - Pain
Papa Roach - To Be Loved
Stone Sour - Through Glass
My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade
Wolfmother - Woman

.......sooooooooooooo BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's been a REALLY painful couple of hours

    i am happy to say i don't listen to the radio and the only song on that list i have heard in its entirety is Woman by wolfmother and tell me baby by RHCP. both were not good.

    I try to avoid the radio as much as humanly possible, unfortunately here at work it is beyond my control.....somedays I wish I could just shut off my hearing

    Radio definitely SUCKS (1 good song for every 20 terrible ones)

    ....thankfully now its time to go home....I have the new Yo La Tengo album awaiting me in my car - i'm giddy with anticipation

    all these songs are very bad
    however i would not put rhcp and audioslave on this list.
    the stuff they put out is not bad just not very good either.
    the other stuff on the list is actively unpleasant.

    That RHCP song was fucking awful, as was the Audioslave single. Come to think of it, there were barely any good alt. rock singles this year.

    i don't mind "through glass" although there is much better stuff on that album. can't really argue about any of the others.....

    I never listen to the radio, so I don't have to listen to those shitty songs...
    It implies that I have to buy many CDs, but I prefer that, so I choose what to listen to...

    ......I didn't mean for my list to be the definitive worst singles list (although those songs are all REALLY bad) - feel free to add some, god knows there was tons of shitty music flooding the airways this year

    I really hate that Effervestance (or however you spell it) bands new song. I really can't stand the female lead singer it's like a cross between Mariah Carey and Paverotti singing songs from the Underworld soundtrack.

    For me it was My Chemical Romance...I like the early Chily's and Audioslave (not all the songs).

    1 - i HATED that song at first, it grew on me, and i actually really dig it now
    2 - meh, always turn it off when its on XM
    3 - RHCP hasnt had a great song in almost a decate.. this song blows
    4 - they have alot better songs then that, Home is a great tune
    5 - they fell off the face of the earth after Infest, which was a great cd
    6 - i LOVE this song!!
    7 - <men on film> hated it </men on film>
    8 - i wish this bands tour bus would get in a firey crash with Third Eye Blind.. wipe the planet free of those 2 shit bands!!

    honestly, Audioslave's album is pretty okay on the whole... not terrible..

    and aside from those 2 singles Stadium Arcadium was fucking terrific.
