I'd say The Bends is the quintessential Radiohead song. It's kinda hard to say since there are at least 2 sides to Radiohead. Difficult to sum up in 1 song. I love Electioneering and Drunken Punch Up, but as a solid all rounder goes The Bends takes some beating.

    Followed by Street Spirit.

    For me, it's Street Spirit
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

I'm disappointed I haven't seen Radiohead's best song mentioned yet. My Iron Lung trumps all.
“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut

“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

    Let Down.

the "you know where you are" part with the layered vocals is bliss
..and you will come to find that we are all one mind, capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable

There are dozens. My favorite song ever, from any artist, is probably "Fake Plastic Trees"

  • Stop Whispering

    I'm old school, I think it's a brilliant song.
    one foot in the door
the other foot in the gutter
    sweet smell that they adore
    I think I'd rather smother

Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner... that song, performed live, ENGULFS YOU, takes over your body, I had never heard the song before an Alpine Valley 03 radiohead show... I was by myself, scored 3rd row tix at face the day of the show(Thanks for once to Ticketmaster), and ever since witnessing that song live, it gives me goosebumps to hear it.
    GREAT SONG!!!!!!
