How do you rate Bob Dylan?

In terms of elite guitar players/gods..............like compared to Hendrix for example?
Out of the Blue and Into the Black................Uncle Neil Philly 08 here I come!!!!

    well he's nowhere near that imo. does he play anything other than play basic chords? i never saw him live while he was still playin geetar...

    He's a pretty decent fingerpicker actually, or he used to be. Boots of Spanish Leather, Don't Think Twice It's Alright etc.

    Dylan musically is a genius. His acoustic guitar playing in the early days, though very repetitive made way for a whole era of style. When he went electric he only grew as a musician. He does play more then basic chords, and if he does play them its usually a stylized picking method. If you want a great example of his electric syle listen to the entire "Slow Train Coming" cd and "Time Out of Mind".

    Good stuff... If i was downplaying him i meant it relative to Hendrix. I love his style on earlier albums.
