One of the first concerts I ever went to was The Jeff Healey Band at Race City Speedway in Calgary, 1989 I think. And of course I'll always remember him in "Road House". Sad to see him go.

so sad to hear that he has passed. Cancer is a terrible terrible disease. Very talented guy. He accomplished a lot in a short time and it seems that he had a lot of love from his family and fans. Thanks for sharing regardless that it's sad. Rest in peace Jeff

The only thing I know him from is a burned copy of Cover To Cover that I got from a roommate in college. I still spin it from time to time. Sad to hear that he passed. I really liked what I heard on that album. (Copied from my AET post)
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

:( I saw that he canceled his tour. I walked into a club he was playing at in Toronto some years ago and I realized what a talent he was. He was also really really cool and nice. RIP

Angel Eyes is one of my favorite songs from childhood. He sung that with such great conviction. Even today, when I'm not so keen on love songs, that's still an attention grabber when it pops up on my shuffle.

very sorry to hear jeff healy died today. he was a great blues guitarist and very soulful singer. his song" angel eyes" always gets me to cry, very good words and true about how strong love can be. he will be surely missed. may his family find strength in his contributions to music, blues, song and verse. may he rest in peace.
