Volto !

Just saw these guys tonight at the Baked Potato in Studio City, CA
What an amazing night. These guys are absolutely awesome.
Kirk Covington, Pete Griffin, John Ziegler & Danny Carey are all masters at their craft, and it was one of the best shows i've ever seen.
Got to speak to John Ziegler for a bit tonight, really a great guy. Amazing guitar player as well. He was explaining to me that they are trying to put out a record, and they'd love to tour but its really hard with how expensive it is unless they get a sponsor involved. (the guy is rich by no means. he sold me a band tee shirt for $20 out of his car that couldn't be worth more than $500)
Most people in the bar were trying to talk to Danny Carey, so I didn't want to try to keep him, but i at least got to tell him how much he's influenced me in my playing and how much the music he has made inspires me. He was incredibly gracious, and seemed genuinely humbled.
Since they have no album, the only way you can really hear them is to see them live. They play regularly around the L.A area, and the info is always put on toolband.com I really reccomend you check these guys out, you wont be dissapointed.
Will post some videos of the night once i upload them.

Also, he met Henry Winkler(who is a huge Floyd fan) in line to meet Nick Mason.
He invited me to go, that time, and others, I could never swing it though.
