Am I missing something or are there no NY area shows listed? I had heard a Giants Stadium rumor awhile back...

  • well that's one hell of a tour. not surprised from them, tho. may check out one of the massachusetts dates, pending my bank account isn't depleted from any more concerts this year.

im very excited. i will be going to around 6 of them in the northeast. i wish pearl jam would announce something like this, but dave is amazing to see live so that will do for now. i just hope i dont shed out all this money for these shows then pearl jam announces an enourmous tour. that would piss me off.

I'm not a huge fan but I kind of wish I was. They tour like this every single year. In my eyes that easily makes them the most fan friendly band in the world. Every year you know you'll see them at least once, no matter what part of the country your in.

well obviously if you don't like the type of music you're not going to like it. the band puts on a hell of a live act.

Ya I wish PJ would announce something. There's a couple of nice looking, tempting road trips, but hard to go for it especially if PJ announce something. I'll likely hit at least Toronto and Buffalo

I'm tempted to see the Alpine Valley shows just because the Black Crowes are opening. They are also playing Busch Stadium and Hershey park with DMB, I hope the Crowes do their own tour and not just open all summer.

    I just requested 6 shows!

    Toronto
    Darien
    Bristow
    Hershey
    Alpine 1&2

Busch Stadium?! Sheesh, do they really have that kind of pull?

I saw them once back in '99 and they were boring - they extended most of their songs by a couple of minutes and all of their jams sounded the same.

I would give them another chance, though. I'd like to see a concert at Busch Stadium.

Anyone have any tips for sneaking in? :)

I saw them about 10 years ago as well, and their shows has changed a lot - and for the better. The main thing I love about their show is Carter the drummer. The guy can sure make you dance. If you're looking for a Mike M type of guitar rock thing Dave isn't it. I think the only thing that has gone down hill is Dav's voice. The rest of the band has only gotten better in the last decade.

Sneaking in? Sure the tix are expensive, but just buy a lawn ticket, drink your face off and dance in the back.

As a 10C member since 2005, and a Warehouse member since 2005.. Warehouse doesn't even come close to 10C.

    F the Warehouse.

exactly. they "jam" but dave sucks at jamming. its slow, boring, and way too long. i like dave studio but damn he thinks he's gods gift to live music and he's nowhere close. i'll be the first to put on his music when i'm just chillin out but his live shows aren't worth a penny. when the best song at your show is a cover with someone else guest playing on guitar you suck. cortez was amazing, though.

thats great. i love the crowes and they put on a great show.
  • I just joined the Warehouse (I'm a jackass for doing so so late. I didn't join the Ten Club until after my 2nd Pearl Jam show in 2003, and I didn't join the Warehouse until after my 7th DMB show. Waiting does nothing!). Anyways, it seemed like a pretty sweet deal as one can request any number of shows and then cancel them or add more at their desire. This is something Ten Club should look into.

I'm not a huge DMB fan anymore, but I used to be back in high school/college. I joined the warehouse in Dec. 1998 and I'm still a member because they have some cool offers/perks.

I usually get pretty good seats to the shows I request and sometimes just get them for friends. A couple years ago something really cool happened though. I live in NYC and a girl from the warehouse called me and said that she had 1 ticket for me to go see the DMB Storytellers taping at BAM in Brooklyn. That was a really, really unique experience....a lot of fun.

I also like the Dave & Tim shows, those are great.
