what a fabulous record

the somber piano, the ambience, the bass lines....phenomenal

    It is indeed, but to be honest i adore the vast majority of material that Mogwai has ever produced, so much so that i think they have knocked Radiohead off their perch as my second favourite band. I also hear they have a new album planned for release in the summer!!

    Do you have the album that's from, Happy Songs fo Happy People? I love all their albums but that one is highly recommended!! Kids will be Skeletons is an amazing song!!

    Ive probably posted this video loads of times but it is truly incredible, if you are a fan of Mogwai you will not be dissapointed. One of the most moving performances of a song i like that ive ever seen, pretty unbelievable. If you get goosebumps at about 4 mins 21 like me i dont blame you!!

    just loaded some of this record onto iTunes... not everything 'cause most of their mellow stuff bores the hell out of me, but i put a good 6-7 songs on and love them all.

    A lot of their stuff isnt exactly the kind of music you can just put on and get into it right away, and i used to just listen to their more popular songs at first, but when i listen to their albums right through i realise how great they are. There are some real hidden gems of songs that you might skip when listening to albums but ive learned not to do that now, so much quality in their slower, and more mellow songs as well.

    Love this song as well, would love to see Mogwai live, looks incredible. The last couple of minutes of this song are heaven like!!

    Just got a hold of another copy of this album after having lent out my old one. Listening to I Do Have Weapons at the moment, brilliant song.

    Finally going to see Mogwai for the first time in April, cannot wait. Seen their live shows on youtube and they look phenomenal, been waiting for them to play a show for ages and ages. Only problem is that they are playing at a day long festival and i think they are at the end. Need to go easy on the drink if im in any state to remember it.
