This guy is magic

Janes Addiction- gets better with every listen
Porno For Pyros- Hey fucking Perry is singing it must rock
Satellite Party- as Perry would say AWESOME

It sucks I never saw Janes live, but seein SP at Lolla was a nice consolation. The attitude this guy has on stage is amazing, he wants to have fun, and wants you to join him in having it. Seeing his hot wife dance around is a nice bonus too.

Perry on the kids stage with School of Rock All-stars was one of the highligts of Lolla.

I got a kick out of Perry Ferrell being a play off the word Peripheral too!

SO SPREAD SOME LOVE FOR PERRY AND HIS AMAZING BANDS

First time I saw Janes Addiction was at Brixton Academy in 1988. They were supporting Fields of the Nephilim. I was in the front row and didn't know who they were until I asked someone afterwards. They were absolutely amazing. I saw them 4 more times after that. At the Subterranea in Ladbrooke Grove, at The Astoria, and then at Brixton again in about 1993 and at the Forum, kentish town a few years ago. I remember the band hanging around outside the Subterranea in 1990 chatting to the fans. Dave Navarro sat next to me on a wall outside and asked me if I had any drugs. Unfortunately I didn't at the time.

Love Janes Addiction, like PFP and I have not listened to Satalite Party or Perry's solo stuff yet.

This is the most pseudogay thread title ever by the way.

Huge Perry fan. I actually got to meet him (and Stephen Perkins and Mike Watt who filled in on bass) after a PFP show back in like 96/97. I've also seen Jane's 3x.

Jane's is one of my all time favorite bands. I have to say though, I'm more into the music than Perry's vocals. Not that I don't like Perry's vocals, but Navarro's psychedelic shredding, Perk's awesome drumming, and especially the deep grooves of Eric Avery's bass lines are what I really loved about the band.

Porno for Pyros was great, too. Again, Perry surrounded himself with an incredible group of musicians.

I like Sattellite Party, but not as much as Jane's and P4P.
