What are your top ten albums, only one slot for an artist, no 8 out of ten PJ lists, no greatest hits:

1. Metallica- Master Of Puppets- greatest album ever

2. Pearl Jam- No Code- Ummm Duh

3. Led Zeppelin IV Zoso- Should this be number 1..man is it good

4. Pink Floyd- Wish You Were Here (really wanted to vote the wall here, but man this is a good record)

somehow I fucked up and it got attached to the end, so i have 11 I guess now.....
Beatles - Help! great mix of their great songs- I suppose dump clapton unplugged

5. U2- The Joshua Tree- great songs, great album

6. Train- Train- their first album before they became superpop, it is soooo good. even if you hate the new stuff this album is awesome with so many good tunes. worth the money

7. Jimi Hendrix- The Blues- this man can play the blues guitar with anyone

8. Coldplay X & Y- I don't know if there has been a cleaner more errorless recording. Another hard pick

9. Clapton Unplugged- started a music revolution (though Telsa 5 man acoutical jam was really the first)

10. Live- Throwing Copper, this band is so good and gets little daylight, a pity.

HM, AIC dirt, Jane's Addiction nothing's shocking, Sarah Mc. Fumbling towards ecstacy, Def Leppard Pyromania, GNR Appetite fro destruction, NIN broken, Soundgarden Superunknonw, Sabbath paranoid, Beastie Boys- license to ill, Akon- Akon, Enya- Enya, I can keep going but will stop

Roughly in order, at least at the top:

    Pearl Jam - No Code
    Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
Tori Amos - Boys for Pele
PJ Harvey - Is This Desire?
Neil Young - Everybody Knows This is Nowhere
    Uncle Tupelo - March 16-20, 1992
    Van Morrison - Moondance
    The Beatles - Abbey Road
Aimee Mann - Bachelor No. 2
Ryan Adams & the Cardinals - Cold Roses

For years I though No Code would be my favorite album until the day I die, but Yankee Hotel Foxtrot might just take the #1 position. To my ears YHF is simply perfect, and I don't know if I can say that about any other album I've ever heard (including No Code).

Great picks as usual, my friend! I can't believe I forgot about those. All three of those albums are incredible. Just more proof that some of the best music in the world comes from the great white north.
