Anyone ever see this guy perform?

sorry typoed the title Lichens

fucking weird and cool all in one. It is Like Arc with a bunch of looped stuff like guitar sounds, him whistling....

    Yeah, I saw him open for Explosions in the Sky in LA. Pretty crazy stuff. When I saw Eddie do a similar thing with the now famous Arc, I thought, "Hey, Eddie copied Lichens!" (Lichens has been doing it since 2005...I can't help but think Eddie was inspired by him but maybe not.) Everybody was so amazed and mesmerized by Arc, but after hearing Lichens do it first, the impact was lessened.

    Looped vocals and effects have been around for quite some time. Neither Eddie or Lichens pioneered the style, but "Arc" predates any of Lichens' recorded material by at least two years, so I think Eddie found his inspiration somewhere else. Regardless, Lichens is quite nice music, especially live.
