Didn't see anything on the board about this but there's this festival called All Points West Festival coming to Liberty State Park, New Jersey. It's presented by the Coachella people.

The line-up is okay. Radiohead headlines the first two nights and Jack Johnson the third. They have some cool undercard bands but I was expecting a bit more.

Tickets went on sale today but I'm sure there are some left.

I'm going the second day mainly for Kings of Leon.

Anyone else going to it?
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.

We made hotels reservations for Jersey City, but now it seems as if Radiohead, Jack Johnson and Tom Petty are doing a festival in San Francisco, and that is much closer.

Just too many festivals...they are becoming too common!
  • hah, I was thinking about making a thread for this because I was surprised that no one was talking about it. I'm not gonna go, but I hope it's successful so they'll bring it back next year with a better lineup for me. It's the only festival that I can really drive to. I'd love to see Underworld & The Roots, but not worth it just for those 2.

The undercard is a bit weak, and since so many of the same bands headline so many festivals, the undercard is what matters most to me.

Coachella still has the edge in that category.
  • Me and about 12 friends picked up tix yesterday. Aug 8-10.

As someone mentioned, Radiohead headlines Fri-Sat and Jack Johnson Sun. But also on Saturday: KINGS OF LEON, and Roots headline the 2nd stage!!!

Be advised, LIMITED parking requires a parking pass, which is sold with sets of 4 tickets.
