    And they totally are touring more in 2009!!

    It was only a matter of time. The way they went out was horrible. If you're going to go out, do it like the Band and bring all of your friends.

    Great news.. but tickets are going to be IMPOSSIBLE to get!!! Best live band in the world playing at one of the best venues... I really hope I get to go (to all 3:D)

    One of my good friends ran to my house from 3 blocks away and into my room at 7AM this morning. Best wakeup call ever.

    I found out yesterday from a friend who has a friend in LA who knows the band....I booked our hotel yesterday before today's annoucment - we're .7 miles from the venue at the marriot! :) Can't wait! Good luck everyone on getting tix!!!! HURRAY!

    if anybody comes across extra's somehow, hook up fellow jammers!!!!! Looks like most hotels are sold out, i'm waiting on seeing if I score tix before looking for a room (i'm guessing people will cancel their rooms)

    yup, exactly. I have a hotel room, but I won't book a flight untill I have tickets in my hands...or know I got em somehow...

    I hate Ticketmaster this is just more proof on how crooked they are.

    how can these types of brokers already be promising tickets they don't know they can get? Cuz they DO know! Once again ridiculous prices. I am not going out there in hopes i get one at the venue either. I can wait for them to hit chicago if that's the case! I can tell ya this though - summer of 09 will be a ton of fun if the boys are GOOD! Since Trey is clean, and they are excited, I have much hope for greatness!

    for those with hotel rooms......if you have no luck with tix and want to unload the room, please let me know. I just got a room but it's in the ghetto, I'd rather not stay there if possible, assuming I also get tickets

    every hotel within 15 miles is just about sold out already

    Phish returns to the stage for three concerts at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia on March 6, 7 and 8, 2009.

    A limited number of tickets are available directly through Phish Tickets' online ticketing system at http://phish.portals.musictoday.com/ . The ticketing request period is currently underway and will end on Wednesday, October 8th at 11:59AM EST.

    Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, October 18th at 10 AM EST and may be purchased online at http://ticketmaster.com or by phone at 757.671.8100, 757.872.8100 or 804.262.8100. Tickets will not be available at the venue box office and there is a two-ticket limit per show.

    The band intends to announce additional touring in 2009 early next year.

    Wow, hotel rooms selling out already....I can't think about that until I know if I've got tickets or not. Maybe I'll be sleeping in my rental car! :0

    I'll hold out for the additional tour dates. Sounds like the Hampton shows are already a bit of a cluster.

    and neither will this....if you can read, and actually looked it up, additional dates will follow being announced in early 2009
