The album Sixteen Stone by Bush. Totally rocking and it gets you going no matter what kind of mood you're in.

Another one would be STP's Purple... just a rockfest, mannnnn.

Popped megadeth rust in peace into the discman when I reached the 8th mile of a half marathon and it was like a sudden boost of energy.
  • As cheesy as these are, when I played hockey in high school, we'd play No Doubt's "I'm Just a Girl" right before leaving the dressing room. I was also in a hockey tournament where they played Presidents of the United States's "Lump" during the players' short warm-up on the ice before the game began. My teammates and I had fun with that song. To this day, I can't hear either one of those songs without feeling slightly pumped.

On a more personal note, I can't hear The Beatles "Good Day Sunshine" without smiling and being in the greatest mood. No matter how down I am, that song always picks me up.

Mastodon- most anything of theirs espcially: wolf is loose, blood & thunder, mother puncher

Who-who are you (love the build ups listened to that on the way to work this morning)

Rage against the machine- a lot of their stuff but killing in the name is great

dinosaur jr- sludgefest (that end jam is awesome)

slayer- angel of death( nice call south of seattle) & dead skin face mask

    sepultura- roots

aman amarth- fate of norns (nothing better then a viking metal fight song)

metallica- seek & destroy, creeping death, master of puppets

Atlanta Symphony Chorus & Symphony-Carmina Burana: Introduction, Fortune, Empress of the World (Nos. 1,2) (aka that awesome song you always hear in movies like the doors when jim is going crazy with the witch in her bedroom)

Lots of other stuff but that is what comes to mind immediatly.
