Depeche Mode or The Cure

Personally,Depeche Mode. I love so many of both groups songs,but everytime I hear "A Question Of Lust" from Mode,wow!!! So powerful and timeless. It stands alone. The cure it's great but, after desintegration doesn't have much to offer as a band...

    THE CURE - by a landslide for me (in my top 10 fav bands of all time)

    ....while I agree that Disintegration is obviously their best work I still quite like Wish and Bloodflowers (the self titled album wasnt half bad either)

    ....their catalogue as a whole kicks the crap out of Depeche Mode IMO (and i'm a DM fan as well)

    Like 'em both, I've seen them both in the past few years ... I'd have to say the Cure though ... and it's not really a tough decision.

    don't care for either of them too much. the Cure's "Pornogrophy" record is awesome though.

    i like a handfull of Depeche Mode songs too.

    Although I don't know a huge amount of Depeche Mode. They are good though.

    The Cure. Disintegration and Pornogrophy are personal favorates of mine. Plus, Trent Reznor loves this band and considers Head on the Door one of the greatest albums ever. That's enough for me!

    DEPECHE MODE is my #2 favourite band ever, am a fan of theirs since 1987. Last year I saw them 4 times and believe me they are still able to blow up any venue by their powerful presence and music.
    However The Cure is one of the most important bands as well and like them since 1985...am really looking forward to their European tour! :o:)

    but I still prefer DM.
