new/old bands

why many bands new/old bands are appearing with the same image: tie,shirts and pants with same colors, red+black+white, for example green day from 2003 to now, anthony kiedys in some magazines,and white stripes too....
also same fashion haircut... green day,afi,good charlotte,simple plan,etc,etc,etc... is this a trend?
