Never really liked it when it came out. One or two of the Chemical Brothers(noteable their cover of Tomorrow never knows) and the Prodigy were OK. The Rest I greatly detest. The fact that it is one only forms of music that you seemingly must enjoy with drugs for me doesn't say much for the music. Also why is most dance tunes rehashed 80's songs? The cult of the boy racer with his pummed up car and dance tunes baring really irratates me. There is little originality to it either and it is mostly the small thing over and over.

i really enjoy the 'big beats' acts, like The Chemical Brothers, The Crystal Method, Death in Vegas, Fatboy Slim, Junkie XL, The Prodigy, Propellerheads, Basement Jaxx, Diplo remixes and others...

I really enjoy Moby, Prodigy, The Chemical Bros, Fatboy Slim, and Basement Jaxx. I have a bunch of their songs on my iPod Nano, it's great music for jogging.

I also really like Aphex Twin, his stuff is out there but I like what he does with beats and samples.

I like lots of dance/techno/electronica/down tempo type music. A lot of my friends are strictly rock and indie type people but i cant help but love this music, and i can put some of the best nights of my life down to seeing performances from dj's like Jeff Mills, Slam, 2many dj's, carl cox etc.

I like some trance music like Tiesto and Nu NRG and have seen both of them live a couple of times and they were amazing.

Other acts i like that perhaps fall into this category are Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Massive Attack, The Orb, Richie Hawtin and Underworld.

I get a hard time from some of my friends for listening to dance music but ive stopped caring what they say and dont even try to persuade them to give it a chance anymore, i will always have a lot of respect for dance music.

My new musical project is taking on a lot of elements from electronic music. Once i figure out how to say the things i want to say as a rock musician with the added textures of the electronic elements, I'll be good to go.

I don't want to do it just to have "that sound" on my stuff. I'm trying to be true to the genre...and glean what is important from it as an artform, so the fusion of it and rock doesn't sound like contrived shit :)

this is good music, hip hop and pop are shitty, unoriginal and mediocre music,
also these genres talks about the same thing:i wannagirls, boys, drinks, money, nothing original, and don´t talk about their videos concepts, it´s worst...

by the way, to produce or create a new electronic track it´s almost as dificult as create a rock song...

I disagree with the difficult part, even though I like this type of music it's quite easy to make a simple trance or dance track the difficulty comes by knowing how much to add how much depth you put in to it.
I've played with lots of sampler programmes.:)

I have Sirius and 34 Boombox is one of my favorite channels (obviously, if you don't have Sirius you have no clue what I'm talking about). But it's a dance music channel with a bunch of mash ups and remixes. I think it's awesome. It's where I first heard LCD Soundsystem.

I already have a Schnauss album, A Strangely Isolated Place, but I don't think I've ever listened to it properly so I'll check it out sometime.
