Jim Morrison "When The Music's Over"

we had this thread a few months back i think.
  • Maynard Keenan - Jerkoff

If you can find anyone who can match the scream near the end of that song (which is performed live btw), I'd be very interested to hear it. I wish he could still do it..

    Also:

    Reznor - Physical

Basically the entire second verse. Craziness.

    +1

    Also:

Porch (Unplugged) - Pearl Jam - you know which part! :D13:17:49
Drain You - Nirvana around 2:30
"Three Four" count in on Oceansize - Janes Addiction

Maybe not a "scream" per se,
but basicaly all of "Something Against You" by the Pixies, any live version. :D

i'll think of another one or two ...

    Yeah, good show..
    In the back
    Off the side
    And far away
    Is a place
    Where I hide
    Where I stay
    Tried to say
    Tried to ask
    I needed to
    All alone
    By myself
    Where were you
    How could I
    Ever think
    It's funny how
Everything you swore it wouldn't change
    Is different now
    Just like you
    Would always say
    We'll make it through
    Then my head
    Fell apart
    Where we you
    How Could I
    Ever think
    It's funny how
Everything you swore would never change
    Is different now
    Like you said
    You and me
    Make it through
    Didn't quite
    Fell apart
    Where the fuck were you

I have screamed along to that many a time. :o

    You really do.

For years, I overlooked this song. I never thought a lot of it. I heard it live, and I still thought "meh". Then about a week later it hit me just HOW good it is. And I was so mad at myself for never realising before...especially when I saw it live, as that WON'T happen again. But yes, it's a great release to scream along to this song, especially the end of it. The Fragile (album) has so much emotion packed into it.

So, i'll add to this list another from the album:

"You & me, we're in this together now, none of them can stop us now, we will make it through somehow."

    Screaming isn't Ed's strong point.

Maybe not, but that scream in Blood is unreal.

  • No one's said Blood yet?

It's good, but doesn't stick out as a great scream. It's more scream-singing as you can hear discernable notes. There's no notes in a proper scream, just shriek noise.. hence why I went for Deftones.
