From best to worst, studio albums only

Led Zeppelin II
Led Zeppelin III
Physical Graffiti
Led Zeppelin IV
Led Zeppelin I
Houses of the Holy
Presence
In Through the Out Door
Coda

And even though Coda isn't great and is just a bunch of leftovers, it's still pretty good, it's just bad for Zep, that's all...

wow, this is tough...'objectively' (based on a particular albums impact on rock music, for example) I would rate them as follows:

    1) IV
    2) II
    3) Physical Graffiti
    4) I
    5) III
    6) Houses of the Holy
    7)Presence
    8) In Through the Out Door
    9) Coda

Subjectively, I would rank them thusly:

    1) Physical Graffiti
    2) I
    3) Presence
    4) III
    5) II
    6) Houses of the Holy
    7) IV
    8) In Through the Out Door
    9) Coda

    II
    IV
    Houses of the Holy
    Physical Graffiti
    I
    III
    In Through The Out Door
    Presence
    Coda

Ain't it great how all the lists are different. Kinda goes to show that they never put out a bad album. Coda is at or near the bottom of every list but still is a solid album. How many bands can come close to that catalog?
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.
