Generally speaking, how much bass do you guys EQ into your music? I used to not be a fan of boomy bass at all, but recently I've kind of grown to like it. It's nice on more atmospheric songs especially... you can just close your eyes and feel the vibration.

I don't crank it so that it's muddy or drowns out the higher levels, but I usually just set it high enough that it cuts through just a bit and then turn up the volume so I can really feel it.

How much bass do you guys like?

  • I like it a little higher than midrange for whatever I'm using. It makes the music sound "fuller".
    Stone Gossard...riffmeister extraordinaire!

lots of bass. not ridiculous levels. but enough that it moves u on a slow and heavy number (eg NAIS). and then it carries you along on an uptempo number (eg Hail Hail)
