Midnight from the Inside Out

Just borrowed Lions by the Black Crowes from the library the other day. Holy shit, my friends... the first 60 seconds or so of the first track is the most killer intro to an album I've ever heard. Turn it up loud, sit back, and it's like... pure euphoria.

I've heard the first five tracks on the album so far, it seems pretty solid. Thoughts on the album? And the killer intro to Midnight?

    Midnight is a cool start, but that disc goes downhill real quick. Greasy Grass River is the only other tune on there that I really get into.

    Lay It All On Me and Cypress Tree are alright live, but there are many other tunes I'd rather see. The rest I can pretty much do without.

    Very good tune.
    Probably the worst album they made though.

    I love that song and it is an amazing start to the CD. However, I only like about half of the rest of the record.

    I've never understood the dislike of this record. Bad ass all around as far as I'm concerned. By Your Side was the crappy record. That was the Crowes sans the attitude and lead guitar.
