Damn, not what I wanted to hear. :( I am seeing them Thursday night in Green Bay, WI. I hope he isn't pissed off, bored, or high as a kite....

kinda happy i skipped them this time around.
  • This is why I am glad that some reunions will never happen (i.e Soundgarden) becuase it just diminishes the bands legacy when there is no passion for the music. Wieland was always a dick and its only now begining to become apparent to some....

I like STP, but they are not as great as the media make them out to be. Scott Wieland is one of the most overrated lead singers in history. He is always bitchin' about something. Last month he was bitchin' about the record deal they have, next month he'll want to be back with Velvet Revolver. STP are not a great live band, by any stretch. I doubt they are butchering their songs on purpose, they are butchering their songs cuz they aren't a good live band. I like their albums, but wouldn't see them live again.

In 97', I saw them and they were fucking amazing. Weiland was crazy as hell and completely spot on vocals.
bombs, dropping down, please forgive our hometown

Thats from the show were Weiland was really late and totally fucked up. Thats the only show I've heard of where they were bad, almost all reviews have been positive that I've seen.

Edgefest has always been one of the worst festivals ever, period. Too bad the tour isn't spectacular by the sounds of though.
